hi there im need some help quite quickly my little girl has bought home two baby pigeons from school full feathered just a little bit of yellow fluff on the head but one is very sick he has a swollen face his nose is watery and he stinks he is getting sicker by the minute we dont want him to die any help would be aprreciated cheers mandy
The best immediate advice is to keep him away from the other baby and take them both to the loca vet Mandy, whatever the issue it needs veterinary advice and potentially treatment.

Hi i am looking at keeping and showing pigeons i used to race pigeons many years ago until the club folded . I am looking for Damascene pigeons and Barbarisi pigeons but have been told i am looking for two very rear breeds . has any one got some for sale now or in the future .

Great website, would like better labelling on pics though. Not all of us are familiar with birds belonging to individuals. It would be a great help if we knew who owned the birds.

Hi John ,
Brad and myself endeavour to add names where possible , though often names are not attached with receipt of images from show-secretaries . It is a very time consuming process uploading images and adding titles but where owners’ names are known they are and will be included . Viewers are also welcome to comment in regard to any individual image .

40 pair swallow pigeon .
50 pair americans fantail.
If you are still wanting fantails we ( the fantail fancy) may be able to help you if you respond to the e-mail address outlining what you require and by when.
The problem we face is that it is now approaching the breeding season but in 6 months time we should be able to look at helping you if you are still interested.
You will find the Australian fantail is vastly different to the American fantail in that there is greater emphasis on body roundness here than in the US. You must decide if this fits your needs.

I noticed my financial membership date (2012) has still not been updated on the members list and it would appear that list was last updated march 2009 nearly a year ago.
