ANPA President Frank Hayes reports: “ANPA member Jim Mackay passed away today after his battle with Cancer. Jim enjoyed last month’s PFS NSW meeting and has served as their Treasurer for many years.
"Members will have seen Jim’s photo in the current Newsletter where he received a Certificate of Appreciation from the NSW Royal Agricultural Society for his 51 years of service to the Royal promoting pigeons.
"He was one of the friendly faces who served us refreshments at the PFS shows. He will be very sadly missed. On behalf of the Committee & members I wish Jim’s family our sincere condolences.
"Today was also a sad one for another fancier’s family. Graham Baker from central Victoria sadly passed away this morning. Graham previously had a tough time but recovered and always enjoyed his Magpies and Homers and the challenges they presented.
"He was the bright spark at the Twin Cities shows where he usually kept others entertained. We send our sincere condolences to Graham’s family.”
