ANPA President Bob Grant reports: Dr J.Osuwu the Principal Evaluator APVMA and Dr S.Hamilton of DAFF have advised that the application to register the Paramyxovirus Vaccine will be treated as an emergency application and as such will be expedited and given top priority.
Further, Pfizer has lodged an import application with the APVMA .
It is not yet known how DAFF will administer use of the vaccine nationally, but in the first instance it will be a major step to containing the spread of the virus for the Victorian Fraternity.
