History of ANPA

The first known attempt to create an Australian National Pigeon Club was made in 1948, and I believe there was at least one other effort before it finally happened in 1981. If you compare the ANPA National Show in Adelaide in 2005 to the first show in Sydney in 1982 you can see the effort was well worthwhile.

The ANPA Book of Australian Fancy Pigeons is a must-have resource for the serious exhibitor. Edited by the Reverend Colin Seymour, it is internationally acclaimed and sought after. The book comes in a binder which allows changes in individual breed standards to be made without having to buy an entirely new publication.
